Notes

These creatures do not drop loot.
Previously, players were able to farm Hopping Vampires using decoys such as spirits to sacrifice themselves upon.
Hopping Vampires further into the mission drop loot. The removal of the loot from the beginning ones was a result of an easy farming location.

So all you need to do is kill the Vampires further into urgoz to get some to drop, since Anet prevented the ones at the very beginning of the mission from dropping any item.
